The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

Written by Simon Stephens adapted from the novel by Mark Haddon

30 April - 10 May, 2025

The Play

Based upon the highly successful novel of the same name by Mark Haddon, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is the story of Christopher Boone, an autistic boy of fifteen years, three months and two days who discovers a dead dog with a garden fork in it in the garden of his neighbour.

We follow Christopher’s journey as he embarks on a detective quest to discover who killed the dog (with some unexpected results), followed by his own personal journey of self-discovery as he sets out on his own for London.

In 2013, the play tied for the record (at the time) for the most Olivier Awards with Awards with seven, including Best New Play and a year later also won the Tony for best play.
